Trio of Spinning Tops

These whirling wonders will balance like ballerinas and can twirl on point for impressive lengths of time before they begin to wobble and fall down. However, unlike all those times you’ve spun around the backyard, these tops will not make you lightheaded or woozy.

Sleeping Forest Studios is a small but mighty workshop run out of Jai and Lauren Soloy’s 180 year old house in rural Nova Scotia. There amidst towering trees, bluejays and one persistent cat-bird they have designed and created our spinning tops from locally harvested pine. Your set of three have been hand turned by Jai and colored with child-safe ink while still on the lathe. We'll select three color combinations thata look great together, whether displayed in a bowl or spinning across the kitchen floor. And we've found that each top spins a little differently, and with a little practice they will all spin upside-down as well!
