Bamboletta Mermaid Doll, Castalia

It's our pleasure to introduce you to Castalia, a Bamboletta Mermaid named for a mythological Greek nymph whom Apollo transformed into a fountain at Delphi. It is said that she could inspire the genius of poetry to those who drank her waters or listened to their quiet sound.

A word to the adults:

”Bamboletta" means 'little doll' in Italian and is the term of endearment that Vancouver doll artist Christina Platt’s father used for her throughout her childhood. It’s also the sweet moniker Christina now uses for the beautifully crafted dolls she makes from a list of materials that reads like a gourmet recipe. The Bamboletta Mermaid Doll has a body made from 100% organic cotton interlock filled with organic wool stuffing, hair is made from metalilic and mohair yarns. Your doll will arrive with a beautiful shimmering tail and coordinating top, and amazing mermaid hair. The serene embroidered features pose no choking hazard and the soft wool stuffing warms to the touch and is naturally anti-bacterial.
