Ida Pearle's Alphabet Cards

Your life's education is likely to begin with the letters of the alphabet. And to begin your scholarly pursuits we present a complete set of the most lovely alphabet cards we've ever seen.

A word to the adults:

This playful set of 26 alphabet cards depicts the cut-paper collages of New York artist Ida Pearle. Reminiscent of famed children's illustrator Ezra Jack Keats, Ida's take on traditional illustrated alphabets are poetic narratives inspired by everyday events in a child's life. Though appealingly dream-like, the unique animation, poignancy, and realistic resonance of these works enable them to function as tools for imaginative learning and growth in the real world. This set can serve as a hands-on interactive learning tool for children or as a welcome decor addition displayed with the twine and mini wood clothes pins enclosed with the set. Please note that the mini clothes pins can pose a choking hazard and should be kept away from young young children.
