Donut Box Set

In the pantheon of perfect foods, between buttery mashed potatoes and the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, sits the divine holey donut and its endless number of varieties. After considerable deliberation at the Yellow Label Kids bakery counter, we selected the following exclusive combination of hand knit play donuts just for you: classic cake with fudge icing and lemon icing with vanilla sprinkles, chocolate cake with strawberry frosting and vanilla icing and fudge jimmies, and a lovely raspberry filled pastry all housed in gingham cloth box. Mmmm…heaven.

Hillary Sciarillo started the Yellow Label Kids collection after leaving a corporate job in New York City for San Francisco, to become a full-time mother and part-time teacher. Inspired by her son and many students she began to look for an alternative to mass-produced, commercial toys and clothing. She was fortunate to connect with a collective of women artisans in Bangladesh, mostly mothers themselves, who earn real living wages from the handcrafts they produce which include our Donuts Box Set.

This collective is overseen by a non-profit Fair Trade organization whose primary goal is to support health and education programs for these women and their families. In addition to facilitating the means for these artisans to earn a sustainable living they are also provided literacy training, free healthcare, childbirth education, and for many the opportunity to work from home. Yellow Label Kids is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation. Safe for all ages.
