Runaways, Ohma! Embroidered Blanket

At the prompting of the Juice Glasses, the Place Settings agreed to a late night game of hide and seek. Tired of her usual hiding place behind the Soup Tureen, the Dish ran away with the Spoon in hope of finding a good spot in the linen closet.

Sisters-in-law Kate Kirkpatrick and Jane Morris are on an eternal search for the next addition to their ever-growing collection of vintage embroidery patterns. And lucky for us they like to share their finds by embroidering them onto oh-so-lovely blankets they sew just for us! Kate meticulously assembles the blankets from fine cotton fabrics, light weight batting and handcrafted binding. Then it's Jane's turn. Armed with needle and floss she creates embroidery even your grandmother would approve of. This gorgeous and substantially sized blanket features the runaway Dish and Spoon embroidered on a lovely natural light cream color front paired with a coordinating blue backing and binding.
