Garden-Variety Gnome

Not to be confused with cookie-baking elves, bridge-dwelling trolls or whistling dwarves, the neighbor’s kitty once referred to our garden gnome as an imp. She was discovered a week later sealed inside a shipping crate bound for Kalamazoo, Michigan.

From the fertile imagination of Amy Gaines at Purl, we’re harvesting a crop of the most adorable garden-variety gnomes. Created from Amy’s original design, each gnome is individually hand crocheted, detailed with appliqued felt and weighted to stand all on its own. Each three-piece set includes a garden gnome, a red-capped toadstool and a little patch of flowering turf. We recommend this item for ages 3 and up. Surface washable.
