The confection we now know as cotton candy was first introduced as 'Fairy Floss' at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The original name that makes us imagine a sweet flock of fairies with spun sugar wings, sheet cake dresses with candy buttons and our delicious pink sandals with butter cream stockings and chocolate soles.
A word to the adults:
Hands down, our best selling new baby gift is the inspired footwear of Heather Drum, a Pacific Northwest yarn artist whose work we have come to adore. Inspired by footwear typically reserved for the 'big kids', each beautifully detailed pair is hand crocheted from soft acrylic yarn. They are created in one size, designed to fit newborns through babies 6 months in age. We offer them only in this 'pre-walking' size to prevent your toddling toddler from tumbling! Machine washable and dryable for easy care.
PLEASE READ: These brilliant baby booties are made to order, as such please allow 2-3 weeks while Heather creates a pair just for you.
