Looking for Shore on Black Apple Pond, A Print by Emily Martin

As twilight faded and the pond waters darkened, the Hedgehog gripped tighter to the oar and grumbled to himself. Emily strained to find recognizable forms through the lens of the telescope, wishing upon every star above that they'd gently bump into the familiar pier...

A word to the adults:

We were completely flattered when the charming Emily Martin of the Black Apple proposed creating a print exclusively for MDG. Emily's cast of curious characters tell their own modern fairytales in fantastic and imaginative ways. Bringing to mind references such as Edward Lear's poem The Owl and the Pussycat or Mary Norton's children’s classic The Borrowers, Looking for Shore on Black Apple Pond finds our diminutive friends afloat on dark waters just waiting for your imagination to complete their journey. This is a high quality reproduction of an original painting, printed on acid-free, heavy stock paper suitable for framing.

Please note that your print will come flat packed in a protective sleeve and will not fit in our gift packaging suitcases.
