Listen, A Print by Camilla Engman

Sadly, not very many people are good listeners. You're reminded quite often, we're sure, to listen to listen to your teachers and to look and listen before crossing the street. But have you ever tried quiet listening - listening you can do all own your own? When you're laying in bed this evening listen very closely and see if you can't hear the humming of your nightlight, your eyelashes against your pillow or the wind dancing around outside your window.

A word to the adults:

We're grateful to Swedish artist Camilla Engman for bringing her own special brand of sweet elegance to the site. Her work is charming and simple, lending itself well to any child's room. Listen is printed in black and olive ink on a cream colored paper. The little red bird is collaged onto the tree.
