Sock Skeleton Kit

You're far too young to have skeletons in your closet.
(You may, however, have some in your sock drawer.)

A word to the adults:

Spook-tacular fun! See online video of Mahar Drygoods proprietor Robert Mahar creating a Sock Skeleton on the Martha Stewart Show!

Create your own Sock Skeletons softie with this cute new kit appropriately presented in a little cardboard casket! Thoughtfully sourced contents (soft acrylic blend socks, embroidery floss, buttons, pencil and complete instructions) will set you well on your way to crafting this long limbed friend.

Smartly designed, professionally printed instructions walk you through this craft in a thorough step by step manner including our special technique of stuffing those skinny arms and legs! The Sock Skeleton is both machine sewn and hand sewn (although if you're feeling ambitious, you absolutely could hand sew the entire project). The only materials you need to provide are white thread and stuffing (poly, bamboo or wool) and a course a few tools you're likely to have around the house (scissors, needles, sewing machine). This is the perfect kit for an adult to make for a lucky kid (or themselves!) We recommend that kids wanting to tackle this project be 10 or older and work with the assistance of an adult.
