Lavender Forest Crocheted Tea Set

When the morning sun casts long shadows through the Hedgehog’s kitchen window his tummy, as if on cue, begins to rumble and he knows it’s time to set his toadstool table for tea.

Ana Paula Rimoli learned to crochet when she was seven years old, sitting in the Uruguay Summer sun with her neighbor lending instruction. Now with her two little girls serving as muses, she develops her own patterns for fantastic toys. The Lavender Forest version of her tea set is exclusive to Mahar Drygoods. Each set consists of a lidded teapot, two cups, saucers and teaspoons, a lidded sugar jar and two cookies.
