Tie-Dye Eggs Kit

With the advent of casual Fridays, the Easter Bunny is finding that he’s dressing up for the office less and less. But being the ingenious hare that he is, that wardrobe of old neck ties won’t go to waste – he’s recycling them into our magical Tie-Dye Eggs Kits!

Paisley, striped and polka dot eggs? They’re easy to create with our new Tie-Dye Eggs Kits! The creative folks at Maude + Claude have hand assembled all of the essentials for you to transfer the patterns from recycled vintage neck ties onto eggs. The technique is deceptively simple and can be tackled by even the younger kids with the assistance of an adult helper. You’ll just need to provide a few readily available ingredients and tools that are likely already in your kitchen (scissors, cooking pot, water, white vinegar, tongs). We’ve found this method of decorating eggs makes less mess than traditional liquid dyes and creates far more impressive results!

Each kit contains materials to create at least 24 eggs: recycled silk ties, fabric wrappers, twist ties and easy to follow instructions. All of the materials are re-usable allowing you to make dozens of decorated eggs. The kit contents are neatly packaged in a clear egg shaped box that’s perfect for displaying your decorated eggs. This project is best suited to kids ages 6+ with adult assistance.
