Polar Bear Pull Toy |
Despite being packed into a snowsuit and loaded down with hats and mittens and scarves, it’s likely you’ll start to get chilly after a couple hours of winter sledding. Unlike humans, however, the amazing polar bear is specially suited to spend most of its year gracefully balancing on sea ice in its shaggy white coat.
A word to the adults:
Sleeping Forest Studios is a small but mighty workshop run out of Jai and Lauren Soloy’s 180 year old house in rural Nova Scotia. There amidst real ravens, bluejays and one persistent cat-bird they have designed and created our polar bear pull toys from locally harvested pine. Each piece is finished with milk paint, a traditional, all-natural finish which is completely non-toxic and even has slight anti-bacterial properties. And finally a light coat of beeswax is added to bring out the depth and sheen of the paint. This handsome fellow will follow your little one around for hours and also looks great napping on a bedroom shelf.
