We’re so pleased to offer these handsome riding giraffes, beautifully crafted by fiber artist Judy Taylor on her family farm in Washington State. The resident flock of sheep and goats contribute to the wool yarn and stuffing used in the creation of each toy. A talented rug-maker, Judy used the same skills to hook our giraffe’s dense low knap ‘. She graciously allowed us to customize her original design with a jet black mane, custom dyed caramel and honey colored spotted coat, cream colored muzzle and ring around each vintage inspired felt appliquéd ‘pie eye.’ The removable halter and reins are made from black vinyl with silver grommet detailing and the riding stick is solid wood with a matte black finish. Whether crossing the African plains or trekking through Central Park, this beautifully crafted riding giraffe is bound to serve your child’s imagination well.
